Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went for a safari in Jhirna Corbett Tiger Reserve (part of Jim Corbett) on Friday morning.
The Chief Minister was thrilled to see the sight of a tiger chasing a deer. Dhami also discussed tiger tourism with the tourists at the Tiger Reserve.
He also fed food to the elephants.

Expressing his happiness on his visit to the Jhirna Corbett Tiger Reserve, Dhami said in a post on X, “In the morning, we took a safari in Jim Corbett National Park, world-famous as a thrilling jungle safari destination for wildlife lovers and home to many species of wildlife and birds. During this, we discussed with the tourists present there and got information about their tourism experiences”
“Along with this, encouraged the forest personnel and also fed jaggery and fruits to the elephants who play a key role in the security monitoring of the forest”, he posted on X.
CM Dhami also took cognizance of the forest management and had a brief, got informed about Corbett Tiger Administrative Management, and had a discussion with Dr. Dheeraj Pandey, Director of Corbett Tiger Reserve.

The Chief Minister also expressed his concern about the villages adjacent to Corbett and how to get them started in community employment and marketing their products.
CM Dhami held administrative discussions with forest officials DFO Terai West Prakash Arya, Digant Nayak of Ramnagar Forest Division, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Parag Dhakate and also reviewed the encroachment case, as per sources. (ANI)
