In a heartfelt plea to the Indian government, Dr Ramesh, a Professor at Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, has requested the safe return of his wife, Dr Radhika, who is currently stranded in Israel due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
Dr Radhika had embarked on a two-month training program in Israel, which has now become a source of distress and concern for her family.
Dr Ramesh revealed, “My wife left for Israel for a two-month training program… Because of the ongoing conflict, she is in trouble. I got messages from her that she is currently safe but is under a lot of stress. I request the government and the Prime Minister to rescue her and bring her to India under Operation Ajay. Her parents are also worried. My son is also eager to meet his mother.”
The professor further shared that Radhika’s parents are equally worried about her safety, and their son eagerly awaits the return of his mother.

Meanwhile the Ministry of External Affairs has begun Operation Ajay to repatriate Indian citizens who wish to return from Israel. The first chartered aircraft carrying 212 Indian citizen arrived in New Delhi today. The returning Indian citizens were received at the Airport by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
“Our government will never leave any Indian behind. Our government, our Prime Minister is determined to protect them and bring them back home safely. We are grateful to EAM Dr S Jaishankar, the team at the External Affairs Ministry, the flight crew of this Air India flight for making this possible, for bringing our children back home safely and soundly and back home to their loved ones” Chandrasekhar said at the Delhi Airport.
Meanwhile, as the Israel-Hamas conflict entered the seventh day on Friday the Israel Defence Forces on Friday warned civilians in the northern Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes.
The IDF is looking to intensify its attacks on terrorist targets in the Gaza City region and possibly launch a ground invasion in response to Hamas’s deadly onslaught against southern communities the Times of Israel reported.
The IDF said that it had carried out airstrikes against 750 targets belonging to Hamas and other terror groups in the Gaza Strip overnight. Israel is responding to the Hamas’ attack on October 7 that has left over 1,300 Israelis dead. (ANI)
