A sudden fire broke out in the CM’s office located in the Secretariat in the capital Doon today. During this the security personnel present there brought the fire under control. Due to which a major incident was averted.
The cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit. The Chief Secretary has ordered an inquiry to find out the cause of the incident.
When the fire broke out in the office, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan and other officer employees were also present there. However, no major damage was caused by this fire. The accident was averted due to the promptness of the security personnel.
