Along with the UKSSC case, the matter of backdoor recruitment in the assembly has been heating up in Uttarakhand. The government is facing constant opposition. However, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had spoken of investigation in both the cases.
So far 31 arrests have been made in the UKSSC paper leak case, so the Chief Minister has written a letter to the Speaker Ritu Khanduri regarding the same assembly recruitment.
In the letter, the CM has written that discussions are going on continuously in social media, print media and electronic media regarding irregularity in appointments in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat. Maintaining the dignity of the assembly has been the priority of all of us.
In a letter to the Speaker, he said that the appointments made in the Secretariat should be investigated and irregular appointments should be considered for cancellation. It has been urged to make provision for fair and transparent appointments in the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat in future.
