Joker malware infected more than 50 apps on the Google Play Store. This information came out from a report by Zscaler Threatlabz. Taking action on this, Google immediately deleted all these apps from its App Store. If you have any of these apps on your phone, then delete it immediately.
The Zscaler ThreatLabz team has informed that the Joker, Facestealer and Coper malware families have been found to be spreading through apps. However, these dangerous apps have been removed from the Google Play Store. ThreatLabz team immediately alerted the Google Android Security team about this threat, about which Google took action.
What is Joker Malware?
This malware specifically infects different apps on Android mobile devices. When it takes entry in a mobile through apps, then it steals contacts, device data and SMS messages from there.
