New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has been bought by Gujarat Titans at his base price. Williamson’s base price was Rs 2 crore. Earlier, Williamson was captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad had released him for auction.
There were 714 Indians registered for the auction. Apart from this, Australia 57, South Africa 52, West Indies 33, England 31, New Zealand 27, Sri Lanka 23, Afghanistan 14, Ireland 14, Netherlands 7, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe 6-6 respectively, Namibia 5 and 2 players from Scotland had registered.
