Taking a jibe at Congress, CP Joshi, Rajasthan’s BJP President, said that the BJP in the past 10 years has done more work than Congress’ 50 years and this will be the base of BJP’s victory.
The party’s state president affirmed that the people of Rajasthan are again with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections, because of the work done by the BJP in the last 10 years for farmers, the poor, women, and youth. He said, “I ask the Congress to bring their record of 50 years… We have done more work in the last 10 years compared to the Congress’ 50 years and this will be the base of our victory.”
Slamming Congress for the statements made on EVM, CP Joshi said, “When you form governments in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, then EVM is fine… EVM is fine but their mentality is not, and they should fix that first.”
CP Joshi said that under the guidance of senior leaders of the party, a double-engine government was formed in Rajasthan with the vision of a developed and prosperous Rajasthan. “…Under the guidance of all the senior leaders of the party and due to the strength of the workers, a double-engine government was formed in Rajasthan. After the departure of a directionless government, the BJP government was formed here with the vision of a developed Rajasthan, a prosperous Rajasthan, a strong Rajasthan and by believing in the guarantee of PM Modi…”
Speaking on the Agniveer scheme, CP Joshi slammed the Congress party and said, “I think they have forgotten that these are the people who said that people join army only to get killed. This was the statement made by Congress leaders. And they have forgotten that during their rule, soldiers used to wait for bulletproof jackets and advanced arms and ammunition…”
Praising the different schemes and decisions taken by the government, CP Joshi said that people have trust in PM Modi’s work and asked Congress, “Was the abrogation of Article 370 wrong? Was constructing houses for the poor wrong? Construction of toilets in poor households was wrong? Getting a gas connection through Ujjawala scheme was wrong? Was the Ayushman card and free treatment wrong? Kisan Samman Nidhi was wrong?… The citizens of the country are trusting in each and every work done by PM Modi.”
Voting for the 12 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan was held in the first phase on Friday. The remaining 13 seats in Rajasthan will be contested in the second phase on April 26. (ANI)
