According to the weather center, there is a possibility of light rain in many areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts. Extremely mild snow can also fall in some areas with an altitude of more than 3500 meters. The weather is expected to be normal in all other areas of the state.

 

Driving of vehicles in Dhanaulti area is dangerous: Even after the snowfall in January, the temperature of the weather has started increasing, but due to snowfall, the woes in the Dhanaulti area have still not reduced. To avoid the snow in many places around Dhanaulti, the soil poured on the roads has increased the slippage, due to which people have to move without putting their lives at risk.

The soil poured on the roads has become slippery: This season in Dhanaulti area has received a lot of snow. It was difficult for vehicles to move due to frost on the snow. In view of the problem where the National Highway section had somehow tried to avoid snow and frost by putting soil in place, but now the melting of snow has made the soil slippery on the roads. Dinesh Kohli of the area said that due to mud poured on the road due to melting snow, two two-wheelers have been injured due to slippery in Batwaladhar, Langidhar, Turturiya, Badwala, and Buranskhanda, while car drivers are also facing problems. EE Jeet Singh Rawat of NH Block-7 says that a temporary arrangement was made by putting soil to prevent snow and frost. Work will be done soon after the weather is clear.
