CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has expected Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam to work in the direction of making the state the country’s leading state in the field of energy. This is because of its progressive thinking, capacity development and good work culture in the field of hydro power generation. He said that in realizing the concept of making Uttarakhand an energy state at the core of state establishment, the power corporations will have to actively cooperate.

Addressing the program organized on the occasion of the 22nd foundation day of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam on Tuesday, the CM said that UJVNL has not only established itself in the state but also in the water power sector due to its innovative thinking, unprecedented capacity and high-quality work culture. It has created a distinct identity among government institutions across the country.

After the establishment of the state, UJVNL was formed to make Uttarakhand a state in the true sense. Although efforts are being made byregard, we continue to facewe have to face many challenges in this area. For this, we must all work together. Only then will we be able to succeed in building a bright Uttarakhand and will be able to fulfill the resolution of energy state.

He said that we have to make better use of the state’s natural beauty and resources and make concerted efforts for the development of the state’s economy.

On this occasion, Secretary of Energy R. Meenakshi Sundaram and Managing Director Sandeep Singhal presented a cheque of 20 crores of the corporation’s dividend. Managing Director Pitkul PC Dhyani presented a cheque for 5 crores to the CM.

CM said that on the basis of its positive and efficient management, the corporation will have to keep striving to set new records in the field of energy. At the time of the formation of our state, the energy sector was considered the mainstay of our economy. However, I was not fully aware that we needed to work together with commitment to this.

The CM said that the central government provides the necessary support from time to time to complete the development plans of the energy sector in the state on time. An example of this is the Lakhwad Multipurpose Hydroelectric Project and Jamrani Dam Project, in which work is being done at a fast pace.

He said that the state government is paying special attention to a zero-pending work culture. For this, decisions are being taken on the basis of the basic mantra of simplification, solution, elimination and satisfaction in every field. We must work continuously with full energy to fulfill our responsibilities.

The CM said that PM Modi has declared the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand and our government is determined to fulfill it. It is our resolve that in 2025, when Uttarakhand will be celebrating the silver jubilee year of its establishment, till then our state should become the leading state in the country in every field. Our ongoing efforts to make Uttarakhand a developed, capable, and ideal state.

The CM said that in these eight years, under the leadership of PM Modi, a prosperous, powerful and harmonious India as well as an India leading the world has been formed. With the identification of talents in various fields, the concept of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat is being realized. Today, India leads the world. The leadership of Modi ji has the effect of making the talents of our country do the work of increasing respect for India at home and abroad. The country’s identity is also being shaped in the field of energy.
