PCS officer Sangeeta Kanojia, who was Laksar Deputy District Magistrate, died on Thursday at AIIMS Rishikesh. On 26 April, there was a road accident in Sangeeta Kanojia Laksar.

He was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh in critical condition. For 4 months, doctors kept trying to save him. But today Sangeeta lost the battle of life. Sangeeta Kanojia’s death has been confirmed by Harish Mohan Thapliyal, Public Relations Officer of AIIMS Rishikesh.

SDM Sangeeta Kanojia posted in Laksar breathed her last at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh at around 10 am on Thursday. He was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh on 26 April due to serious injuries in a road accident in Laksar.

In the accident, his driver Govind Ram died on the spot. According to the AIIMS administration, Sangeeta was kept on the life support system of AIIMS Rishikesh.

On 26 April, SDM Luxor Sangeeta Kanojia’s car collided with a truck on Solani bridge near Landoura in Roorkee area. In this, the driver of SDM Luxor died on the spot, while SDM Sangeeta Kanojia herself was seriously injured. He was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh for treatment.

The condition of Laksar SDM Laxar Sangeeta Kanojia, admitted in AIIMS Rishikesh, remained critical. On April 30, specialist doctors from the Department of Neuro Surgery performed his neck and spine surgery.

He suffered severe injuries to his neck, chest and head. He was put on life support system. SDM Kanojia was kept under the supervision of doctors in the ICU.
