The Education Department in Uttarakhand will now appoint teachers under a temporary arrangement. This rule is for those schools where teachers have gone on medical leave or are not found. It was told that Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat has also given his consent.

In such a situation, the question is whether the education department, which is one of the big departments, is not distributing the teachers properly. The question is also that if such improvised system remains, then what will happen to the studies of the students.

Let us tell you that in primary education itself, there is a shortage of teachers on more than 2 thousand posts in more than 30 thousand schools in the state. In a district like Pithoragarh, 364 teachers’ posts are vacant. While there is only one teacher in more than 400 schools.

At the same time, there are more than 800 such schools in the capital Dehradun, where the number of teachers is more according to the strength. While there are around 600 schools where there are children but the post of teachers is vacant.

In such a situation, the education department is now preparing to make appointment of teachers under a temporary arrangement. In which the principal in every school will have the right to temporarily keep teachers in the school by assessing the parameters of subject teachers. For this, Rs 50,000 will be given to the principal.
