Even I had to arrange the election meeting of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat.

BJP claims party will create new record in CM’s by-election
Apart from the very weak organization in Champawat, strife and many other reasons blocked the way for Congress’s victory. A senior Congress leader, on condition of anonymity, said that the party fought this election with a half heart. On the contrary, despite the BJP being a powerful candidate, many ministers and MLAs from the top of the organization to the government threw strength from village to village. Due to this hard work, the party is claiming that the BJP will set a new record in the by-election of CM in Uttarakhand.
