Uttarakhand Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat reached Rudrapur today. On this occasion, he made a big announcement about the toppers of Uttarakhand. An amount of Rs 25,000 and a certificate would be given to the top scorers in the exam, he said.

He said that two playgrounds would be built in every Municipal Corporation area under PM Shree Yojana. Sports equipment would be provided in all schools. Along with this, free books would also be distributed in recognized schools. Additionally, every child will have access to health care and free treatment will be provided to 40,00,000 children. The government has set a target of making every child fully literate.

The Education Minister said that vocational courses would be conducted in 400 inter-colleges of the state and tablets would be distributed to the teachers. Every year 25 children will be taken to other states like Karnataka, Kerala etcTo get training there and children from other states will go to Uttarakhand.

Along with this, the history of Uttarakhand will be taught to children from class fifth. In this,in which the history of influential men of every district will be included. Along with this, he talked about providing education in mother tongues like Kumaoni, Garhwali, Punjabi etc. Plans to hire qualified teachers who are qualified in Math and Science subjects.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said these things while formally inaugurating the state level sports and cultural competition. Education Minister and Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhat presided over the three-day sports competition amidst cultural programmes.

From December 6 to December 8, children from class one to eight took part in this competition at the Manoj Sarkar Sports Stadium in Rudrapur. Primary and upper primary students participate in this program. They participate in sports and cultural events.
