On Sunday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Veteran Soldiers Award Ceremony” organized by the Sainik Welfare Department under the Sewa Pakhwada at New Cantt Road. On this occasion, CM Dhami and Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi honored the ex-servicemen. In this program 66 Veteran Soldiers above the age of 80 years were honored.

While addressing the program, CM said that this service fortnight is starting from the birthday of our successful PM Modi and ends today on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Many programs have been organized on this occasion.

The CM said that the honor of all you brave soldiers is a matter of great pride for all of us, today it is not your honor, but we are feeling honored by honoring you heroes. Due to your bravery, valor and dedication, the borders of our country have always been safe.

He said that the Indian Army has a glorious history and some golden signatures of that history are present in front of us today. Our brave soldiers have done the work of increasing the pride and honor of the tricolor on every front. And this is the reason why every citizen of this country has a very special sense of respect for the Indian Army.

CM said that Uttarakhand has given lakhs of brave soldiers to this country, who showed with their bravery and courage that Devbhoomi can not only show the world the path of peace, but can also display valor and valor when needed. Our Uttarakhand is recognized as Veer Bhoomi after Devbhoomi.

The CM said that for the youth of Uttarakhand, the army is not only a means of livelihood but a way to serve Mother Bharati. I myself come from a military family and being a soldier’s son, I have seen that passion for the service of the nation very closely. He said that the dedication of a soldier is not hidden from anyone, but the opportunities that his family makes, there are very few opportunities to make that sacrifice to heart.

He said that there was a phase in this country when these heroes of ours had to fight for even basic facilities. We had to fight even for our daily needs, despite these deprivations, our brave soldiers never let the flame of the tricolor come on. But today a new chapter of the empowerment of the army is being written under the leadership of PM Modi.

Today, not only are our soldiers equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and facilities, but their confidence has also increased. Today, the army does not wait for the enemy to respond as before, but responds to bullets with shells. The work done by PM Modi to increase the morale of the soldiers is unprecedented.

The CM said that in this reformist journey that started with steps like One Rank, One Pension, many important milestones like Rafale, Defense Corridor and creation of post of CDS have come. It is once again a proud moment for our Veer Bhoomi when our retired Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan ji has been made the second Chief of Defense Staff of the country.

He said that multi-dimensional recruitment scheme like Agniveer has encouraged the youth to join the army even more. The Indian Army has no match in valor and under the leadership of PM Modi, the day is not far when the Indian Army will be the best in the whole world even in modernity.

The blueprint has been prepared for this and the success of this campaign is also being ensured under the guidance of talented ex-servicemen like you. Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi said that all these Veteran Soldiers are those who have fought many wars to protect the country.

We all know that PM Modi is always ready for the continuous work of service. He said that eight programs have been organized by his own departments only under the Seva Pakhwada. He said that we are worrying about everyone from farmers to soldiers.

While our government is working for the interests of farmers and resolve to double their income, on the other hand, under the leadership of CM Dhami, our government is committed to the welfare of soldiers and ex-servicemen.
