The Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, while participating in the innovative agriculture program organized by NITI Aayog through video conference from the Secretariat on Monday, said that the state government is continuously working in this direction, how there should be ideal coordination between ecology and economy in Uttarakhand.

The state government has implemented the Gross Environmental Product (GEP) in the state, which is implemented along with the prevailing model of determining GDP. Establishment of world class nurseries under National Horticulture Mission in the state, giving global recognition to the tea of ​​Uttarakhand for the development of tea, encouraging the cultivators for water conservation, large scale construction of rain harvesting tanks and promotion of polyhouses for vegetable and flower production. Efforts are being made to give In which help will be taken from NITI Aayog and Central Government.

The Chief Minister further said that the state government is determined to work on the upliftment of natural agriculture and its various dimensions in Uttarakhand. The Uttarakhand government is motivating agricultural universities to promote natural farming in the state.

The cultivators will be connected to it through Krishi Vigyan Kendras. Natural farming from chemical farming is part of the vision document of the state. A task force will soon be formed in the state. In which all stakeholders will be included and will be taken forward in natural farming in Uttarakhand.

To encourage our farming system, we have to protect our agriculture from all the harmful chemicals. So that the cultivators can also prosper and ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ based farming system can be implemented.
