A case has now been registered in Dehradun against YouTuber Balwinder Kataria alias Bobby Kataria, who got into a controversy after smoking a cigarette on a SpiceJet flight.
A case has been registered against him at Kent Kotwali, Dehradun under sections 290, 510, 336, 342 and 67 IT Act of IPC. On the previous day, a video of YouTuber Bobby Kataria drinking alcohol while sitting on the road went viral.
After the video of drinking alcohol went viral, DGP Ashok Kumar had talked about taking action on the matter. Bobby Kataria also gave a big statement on the statement of action being taken by Uttarakhand Police. Bobby Kataria had challenged the Uttarakhand Police through social media, after which the police registered a case against him at the Cantt police station.
Bobby Kataria’s name came into controversy after a video of him smoking a cigarette in violation of safety norms on a SpiceJet flight from Dubai to Delhi went viral on social media. This video is being told of 23 January.
Aviation Security took action against him. At that time this video was removed from social media but once again this video has surfaced and Twitter users tagged Home Minister Amit Shah and Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and complained. To this Jyotiraditya Scindia replied that such risky behavior will not be tolerated. The case is being investigated.
A statement has also been issued by SpiceJet as the controversy escalated. The airline company says that this matter is of January 2022 and it was investigated. A complaint was also lodged in this matter at Udyog Vihar police station in Gurugram.
