On Friday, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu held a meeting with the nodal officers for Kovid at the Secretariat. The Chief Secretary instructed all the nodal officers to remain active.

He has given instructions to keep home isolation and all necessary preparations related to it in active mode. He said that in remote rural areas, along with Panchayat Ghar, School, etc., the facilities provided there should be ensured in time.

Ayush should also be promoted along with allopathy

The Chief Secretary instructed the Secretary Health that P.H.C. and C.H.C. All the necessary equipment, medicines, and other materials should be made available in proper quantity in advance till the level.

He said that the availability of oxygen in the state is in better condition than the second wave of Kovid. Keeping in view the possibility of a third wave, we have to make all possible preparations. He said that the work done by the Department of AYUSH to boost immunity should be continued and its publicity should also be done.

Publicity should be done continuously for public awareness

The Chief Secretary directed to continuously spread publicity for awareness among the general public through electronic media, print media, and social media.

He said that there is a need to make the common man aware of this through short videos. For this, publicity should be done through short videos in local languages.

The Chief Secretary directed to ensure all preparations related to medical equipment distribution and drug supply management.

Campaign should be run against those who spit and throw garbage here and there

The Chief Secretary directed the officers to run a campaign for cleaning and spraying sanitizers across the state.

He said that continuous announcements should be made to make the common man aware. Along with those who do not wear masks in public places, they have also given instructions to take action and challan campaigns against those who spit and throw garbage here and there.

On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan, Secretary Amit Negi, R. Meenakshi Sundaram, DGP Sanjay Gunjyal, Dilip Jawalkar, S.S. Murugeshan, and Chandresh Yadav and other senior officers were also present.
