Even before the onset of monsoon in Uttarakhand, the number of devotees in Chardham Yatra has started decreasing. As soon as Chardham Yatra started, where 18 to 20 thousand devotees were reaching Badrinath, Kedarnath, now this number has reduced to 7 to 10 thousand.

With this, there has also been a 50 percent reduction in travel registration. Earlier, 20 to 22 thousand registrations were being done every day for the journey, where now only between 12 to 15 thousand are being done.

Similarly, for Chardham Yatra in Rishikesh and Haridwar also, the situation is no longer the same for offline registration. Only 410 devotees registered in Haridwar on Wednesday.

Whereas in Rishikesh only 300 devotees reached for offline registration. And earlier so many registrations were being done here that passengers were being returned.
