Amazfit is all set to launch its retro-styled smartwatch, Huami Amazfit Neo, in India. Scheduled for October 1, the Amazfit Neo is going to be available on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra and the brand’s online store in.amazfit.com.

The Amazfit Neo features a retro-styled, always-on display and is equipped with Huami-PAI which is the company’s in-house indicator of personal activity. It features three sports modes, 5 ATM water resistance, a heart rate sensor and it comes with sleep monitoring support as well.

The smartwatch also comes with a 28-day battery life promise under typical usage scenario. Typical usage scenario for the Huami Amazfit Neo includes heart rate monitoring enabled (measure every 30 minutes), lift to wake disabled, buzzer enabled, 50 notifications and one alarm every day, steps and sleep tracking, one workout (run for 30 minutes) every week.

In any other usage, the resultant battery life is expected to be different.

The most unique feature of the Amazfit Neo is undoubtedly its retro design. It gives users the feel of wearing an older digital watch but with new-age features like heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring.

The smartwatch will be available in three colors – black, green and red. The app ecosystem supports both Android and iOS.

We know nothing of the price of the Amazfit Neo yet, but given the 299 yen or $44 ( 3,228 approx) price tag on Alibaba Express, the India prices could be around that.
