As anticipated, Honor has finally launched its ‘Hunter’ range of gaming laptops in the market. And the first one in the series is the Hunter V700. Introduced at Honor Smart Life conference held in Beijing, China, this new gaming laptop is priced at RMB 7499 (roughly 81,500) for the base model.

The firm claims that this gaming laptop is not heavy and has a portable design measuring 369.7 x 253 x 19.9 mm while using material like aluminium alloy. It has a 16.1-inch screen with fullHD (1920 x 1080 resolution) a 4.7mm narrow border on both sides and 100% sRGB with 300nits brightness. As for the ports, it includes 3.5mm audio, USB 2.0, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0, 2 x USB 3.2 ports and a Type-C display/data port.

Powering the laptop is the 10th-generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. You also get configurations in Intel Core i5-10300H processor and GTX 1660 GPU with 192-bit 6GB GDDR6 memory. The Hunter V700 also features up to 16GB GDDR6 RAM, which upgradable to 32GB RAM, along with two NVMe SSDs for up to a total of 1TB storage.

For heat dissipation, the gaming laptop relies on Wind Valley design. “When the cover is closed, the heat dissipation panel is retracted, keeping the body slim. When opened, the wind valley channel at the base is automatically revealed to form an air intake vent of 8.5 mm, increasing the air intake volume by 40 percent,” says Honor.

Like soon in other gaming laptops, this one also has a dedicated ‘Hunter’ button to switch between performance, balanced and quiet modes.
