Google is expected to launch its next generation budget smartphone, the Pixel 4a, in July. Ahead of the phone’s official launch, countless reports have detailed what we should expect from the phone, both in terms of the design and specifications. Now, a new report talks about the Pixel 4a getting wireless charging capabilities.

The latest piece of gossip about the Pixel 4a comes as a courtesy of phone case maker ESR, which hints towards the phone getting wireless charging capabilities, a feature that was not present in the company’s Pixel 3a smartphone.

The ESR listing also hints towards Google’s upcoming budget smartphone getting a punch hole display with the front camera being tucked in the top left corner of the screen.

Apart from this, reports suggest that the Pixel 4a will get a 5.8-inch display. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset that will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The phone is expected to get a 12-megapixel camera at the back along with a 3,080mAh battery. Additionally, the company is expected to ditch the Active Edge feature in its upcoming smartphone. This feature allows users to invoke Google Assistant by squeezing the phone.
