Google One has crossed 100 million installs on the Play Store. Google One subscription service offers cloud storage along with other perks for its members.

Google One is the latest app to reach 100 million installs on the Play Store. It is worth noting that Google One comes preinstalled on some smartphones. Google already has its bundle of apps that is preinstalled on all Android smartphones. Smartphone brands like Oppo and OnePlus have also opted for Google Messages and Phone apps as the default apps.

Google One’s primary feature is cloud storage but it also offers other services like access to Google experts, and family sharing. Google recently added VPN to Google One subscriptions for the 2TB plan priced at $9.99 per month. This is however, available only to Google One users in the US. It also started rolling out ‘Pro’ sessions that lets Google One members have one-on-one sessions with a Google expert.

Google was also spotted testing some editing features exclusively for Google One members. It was first discovered that some editing features in Google Photos can be unlocked by subscribing to a Google One membership. One feature in particular, colour pop, was found ‘locked’ on Google Photos. Google did not share anything on making such features exclusive but did say that a newer version of colour pop started rolling out for Google One users earlier this year.

Google One plans start at 130 per month for 100GB of storage. Google One plans with 200GB and 2TB storage are priced at 210 and 650 per month, respectively. Google also lets you pay annually for all these plans.
