The auspicious time to worship Shri Vishwakarma is from 07:36 in the morning to 09:30 in the night on September 17 this year. At the same time, Abhijit Muhurta is from 11:51 in the morning to 12:40 in the afternoon. Apart from this, Lord Vishwakarma should not be worshiped during Rahukal.
According to the beliefs, Lord Vishwakarma had created the weapons of the gods like Trishul, Sudarshan Chakra etc. Apart from this, he had built the Pushpak Vimana and many palaces. At the same time, after creating the world, Brahma Dev had entrusted Vishwakarma with the responsibility of making it beautiful.
Method of Vishwakarma Puja-:
On the day of Vishwakarma Puja, first of all wake up in the morning and take bath. After that put on clean clothes. With this sprinkle Gangajal at the place of worship and clean it. Take a post and spread a yellow cloth. Make a swastika on this post with red colored kukum. Meditate on Lord Ganesha.
Salute them and offer the flower on the swastika. Apply tilak on the idols of Lord Vishnu and Muni Vishwakarma and remember them in mind. After this the mantras of Vishwakarma ji are Om Aadhar Shaktape Namah and Om Kumayi Namah; Chant Om Anantham Namah, Prithivai Namah after 108.
After worshiping Vishwakarma, worship Lord Vishnu and Vishwakarma ji and offer fruits and sweets. In worship, you will get betel nut, roli, yellow Ashtagandha sandalwood, turmeric, clove, molly, wooden post, yellow cloth, earthen pot, Navagraha Samidha, Janeu, cardamom, camphor, desi ghee, Havan Kund, mango wood, curd, flowers , perfume, dry balls, coconut with hair, incense sticks, intact, incense, fruits, sweets will be needed. After the worship is over, distribute the prasad to everyone.
