314 cadets passed out from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and became officers in the country’s army on Saturday. A total of 30 cadets from 11 friendly countries will also pass out and join their respective national armies in the passing out parade.

Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, GOC-in-Chief of the Central Command took the salute of the passing out parade at 9 am on Saturday.

The parade started on Saturday morning at 8.55 am with the markers call. Bharat Mata Teri Kasam Tere Rakshak Banenge Hum, Stepping on the IMA song, when the Gentleman Cadets reached the drill square, it felt like a huge ocean has risen. The steps rising together and the proud chest were spreading energy within each and every citizen sitting in the audience gallery.

At the Nizam Pavilion, Peeping and Oath Ceremonies were conducted for all the Gentleman Cadets after the parade.
