In the matter of quality education, the schools here have once again made a significant achievement. According to the Education World India School Rankings 2022-23, Doon was represented by more than 8 schools in the top 10.
Not only this, ‘The Doon School’ and ‘Welham Boys’ jointly secured the first rank in the country in Boys Boarding. Which is a matter of pride for every Uttarakhand resident. In this way the schools of Dehradun have maintained their supremacy in the field of education. According to the Education World India School Rankings 2022-23, six of the top 10 girls boarding schools in the country are from Dehradun.
Dehradun has emerged as the leading city in the country for girls’ education. In the top-10 girls boarding schools, six schools are from Dehradun. Of these, Welham Girls came second. Whereas, Ecole Global International Girls School came third. Hopetown Girls was at number four, Unison World at number seven, Vantage Hall Residential School at number eight and Shigali Hills Girls School at number ten.
‘The Doon School’ and ‘Welham Boys’ have jointly achieved the top ranking in Boys Boarding. Similarly, Welham Girls won second place in the country in girls’ boarding. In the co-boarding category, Selakui International School secured the fourth rank in the country and Kasiga School secured the sixth rank in the country.
Birla Vidya Mandir Nainital got 4th rank in the Boys Boarding Category. Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School, Mussoorie got fifth rank and GD Birla Memorial School Ranikhet got seventh rank. Let us tell you that every year the ranking of schools across the country is released by Education World India. Earlier this year, Doon School Boys was the top boarding school. Then, Welham Boys School ranked fifth on this list. This time Welham Boys has been successful in securing the number one rank.
