Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. It will be the beginning of the Amrit Festival of Independence from here itself.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi here and wrote his message in the visitor book of Sabarmati Ashram. Earlier Modi offered flowers on the statue of the Father of the Nation and garlanded his picture.
