After the controversial statement of former BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad, many violent incidents are taking place across the country. Recently, the case of Taylor’s murder in Udaipur, Rajasthan was also linked to this. After which now the Supreme Court has reprimanded Nupur Sharma fiercely.

Apart from this, the Delhi Police has also been reprimanded by the court. The Supreme Court told Nupur Sharma that, because of you, the entire atmosphere of the country has deteriorated and you have delayed apologizing for a long time. Along with this, the Supreme Court has rejected the petition of Nupur Sharma, in which she had asked to transfer all the FIRs to Delhi.

The Supreme Court told Nupur Sharma that you call yourself a lawyer, yet you made an irresponsible statement. Making a strong remark, the Supreme Court said that the power of power should not dominate the mind. Not only this, the Supreme Court also reprimanded the TV channel, in whose debate Nupur Sharma had given a controversial statement. The court asked that if the anchor of the channel did the work of instigating then why should a case not be registered against him?

Taking a dig at Nupur, the Supreme Court said, because of you, the condition of the country has deteriorated. You apologized late, that too with the condition that if someone’s sentiments have been hurt, then I withdraw the statement. The court also took a dig at the Delhi Police and said that if the first FIR against Nupur was registered in Delhi, then what action was taken on it?

During this Nupur Sharma’s lawyer Maninder Singh said that some other panelists on TV were repeatedly saying derogatory things about Shivling. Nupur had no intention of insulting any religion. The lawyer said that, if this is the view of the court, then the freedom of expression will become redundant. To which the court replied that responsibility is also associated with this freedom.

When the lawyer talked about accepting only one FIR as correct, the court said that, you can put this matter in the High Court. You can seek bail from the trial court in every case. The court said that what happened in the FIR registered in Delhi. There maybe the police has laid a red carpet for you.
