On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, young participants also paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose under the ‘Know Your Leaders’ programme organised by the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE).
Addressing the youth on this occasion, Birla remembered Netaji’s contribution to nation-building.
“Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is a true symbol of India’s strength and valour, who gave new vigour to the nation’s freedom struggle through his courage and command. Birla added that Netaji, in adverse circumstances, organised the power of the youth through his leadership, which then emerged as a serious challenge to the colonial government,” Birla said.
Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Members of Parliament and former Members also paid tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Referring to the Central Hall of the Samvidhan Sadan, Birla said that the Constitution was made in the Central Hall with the ideals of Netaji in mind.
He hoped that the inspiration of great men like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose would continue to pave the way ahead for the youth in India’s development journey.
Birla opined that Netaji’s path was one of courage and of bringing about change through struggle. He added that “today’s India needs to learn from Netaji’s ideals”.
