External Affairs Minister, Government of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar has written a letter to the Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the letter, he says that all possible help will be given to all Indians, including two people from Uttarakhand who are stranded in Nigeria.
For this, the Abuja-based High Commission is in constant contact with the concerned authorities of the Government of Nigeria. The safety and welfare of Indian citizens will be ensured.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had written a letter to External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar. In that letter, he requested assistance in the safe return of the people stranded in Nigeria.
