However in the meantime, genome sequencing of Corona virus cases has resumed. Following the order of the Central Government, positive samples are being collected for genome sequencing at Lok Nayak and ILBS Hospitals of the Delhi Government. Director of Lok Nayak Hospital, Dr. Suresh Kumar told us that genome sequencing of positive samples will be done on a daily basis. From this it will be known whether any new strain is flourishing. Significantly, new cases of Corona in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, China and America are increasing rapidly.
However, if we look at the Corona figures of the last few days, 12 deaths have been recorded in India due to infection in the last week.
