The period of decline in corona virus infection continues across the country. 6809 new cases have come during the last 24 hours. Whereas 7,219 new cases came a day earlier. The special thing is that now the number of active patients has come down to less than 60 thousand. According to the latest data, there are currently 55114 patients of corona who are undergoing treatment across the country. The number of patients is continuously decreasing in Delhi and Maharashtra.
According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, the death toll has increased to 5,27,991. At the same time, the number of active patients is 0.13 percent of the total cases of infection. The rate of patients recovering from Kovid-19 has increased to 98.68 percent.
On Saturday, 1,272 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Maharashtra and four patients died. The total number of infected in the state increased to 81,03,649 and the death toll increased to 1,48,261. On Friday, 1,258 cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra and six patients died.
Of the new cases, 713 are from Mumbai alone. This was followed by Pune (328), Kolhapur (64), Nagpur (59), Nashik (47), Latur (39), Akola (13) and Aurangabad (nine) patients. Of the four patients who died, three died in Mumbai circle and one person died in Akola circle.
On Saturday, 236 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Delhi with an infection rate of 1.68 percent, while three infected people died during this period. This information was given in the data shared by the Health Department. The department said in the latest bulletin that during the last 24 hours, 14,023 samples were tested, of which 236 were confirmed to be infected.
Earlier on Friday, 299 patients of Covid-19 were reported in the national capital with an infection rate of 2.17 percent. 26,477 people have lost their lives. and have recovered from the infection.
