A language that has sweetness, sweetness, identity of India, it is ‘Hindi’ which unites the whole country in one thread. Despite this, step-motherly treatment is done in the country regarding Hindi language. Even after 73 years, Hindi could not become the ‘national language’ of our country. Even today, Hindi has not been able to establish its roots in many states of India.

The biggest reason for this is thinking negatively about the official language of the political parties of the states of South India’. Hindi is the language on which the most politics also took place. Whereas Hindi is continuously progressing on the world stage.

The Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had said, the heart has no language, the heart talks with the heart and Hindi is the language of the heart. Today is September 14th. Every year ‘Hindi Divas’ is celebrated on this day. One of the reasons behind celebrating this day is to stop the growing trend of English language and neglect of Hindi in the country.

Hindi Pakhwada is celebrated as Hindi week or Hindi day as soon as Hindi day comes. But in many southern states it is celebrated as a protest. In our country, Hindi is opposed from time to time only for political gains. This tradition continues since before independence.

Now some leaders use it to shine their politics. Let us tell you that in 2019, when the Home Minister of the country Amit Shah had spoken about one country, one language, it was strongly opposed. In this case, many south leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, DMK leader Stalin, Panneerselvam, musician AR Rahman, former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy Kanimozhi jumped in protest.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that if any one language can do the work of tying the whole country in the thread of unity, then it is the most spoken Hindi language. Referring to the talk of one country, one language, he said that along with Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, many non-Hindi speaking leaders of the country had advocated it.

The initiative to make Hindi the national language was not taken by Hindi speaking leaders but by non-Hindi speaking leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindra Nath Tagore, C Rajagopalachari, Sardar Patel and Subhash Chandra Bose. All of them were aware of the power of Hindi despite not being from Hindi speaking states.

Despite this Hindi could not become our national language. Let us know what is the difference between official language and national language. Difference between official language and national language Official language is a constitutional term, whereas national language is a naturally generated word thus official language is the language of administration and national language is the language of the people. All the national elements are expressed in the national language, whereas only the administrative expression is in the official language.

Hindi is shining brightly in many countries and global market, emerged as the third language in the world
Even though there is opposition to the official language in some states of the country, but Hindi is the identity of India, which unites the Hindi speaking people settled all over the world. Today the whole world has emerged as a global market. In which Hindi itself has emerged as the third language.

On the basis of numbers, Hindi language is at third place in the world after English, Chinese Mandarin language. In 2022 itself, all the information of the United Nations Organization has also started being released in Hindi. Hindi is the biggest contender to become the seventh official language of the United Nations.

Hindi is flourishing in many big companies. All companies including Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and Yahoo have made a huge market for Hindi language and are earning billions of rupees in the name of Hindi itself.

There are many countries in the world where Hindi language is spoken proudly. Hindi language is also used in Nepal, Bangladesh, USA, UK, Germany, Pakistan, New Zealand, UAE, Fiji, Uganda, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad, Mauritius and South Africa.

Hindi became the official language in the country on September 14, 1949, but still could not get the status of national language
Let us tell you that when India became independent in the year 1947, there were many big problems. One of the problems was also about the language. Hundreds of languages and dialects were spoken in India. In such a situation, deciding what would be the official language was a big challenge.

However, Hindi is the most spoken language in India. This is the reason why the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi called Hindi the language of the masses. After a long discussion, the Constituent Assembly decided on 14 September that Hindi would be the official language of India. It was only after this that the southern states openly opposed it.

Many people of Tamil Nadu even committed suicide in protest against the implementation of Hindi official language. The governments of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal have never taken any concrete steps for the promotion of Hindi language, but have been opposing Hindi on the contrary.

One of the reasons for the backwardness of Hindi in the country is that higher education is not through Hindi medium. Court orders also come in English. From this it is not known whether the argument for the allegation or defense was given. Because not everyone knows English. Competitions are also held in English.

He said that today Hindi has become a language of translation only. Words that are not in use are also being used. Hindi has lagged behind in the dominance of English. Therefore, unless higher education is available in Hindi, Hindi cannot rise.
