The decision comes after a meeting of the Subject Expert Committee of the Drug Controller General of India, in which data was sought from Bharat Biotech for the introduction of the Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin to children in the age group of 2-12 years.
Let us inform you that at present the Corbevax vaccine is being given to children of 12-14 years. The vaccination for 15-18-year-olds started on January 3 this year. He is being given a dose of Covaxin.
