Amidst the increasing cases of corona in the country, now soon 12-14-year-old children will also start getting the vaccine.
National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) Group Chief Dr. NK Arora said that from March these children will get the vaccine.
So far, more than three crore children of 15-17 years have received the first dose of the corona vaccine in the country. It is noteworthy that the vaccination of 15-17-year-olds started on January 3.
Arora further said, ‘By the end of January, 7.4 crore children aged 15-17 years will get the first dose of corona vaccine.
After this, from the beginning of February, we will start giving the second dose to these children and by the end of the month, everyone will get the second dose of the vaccine. After that, we can start giving the vaccine to 12-14-year-olds from the end of February or the beginning of March.
