A tailor was allegedly killed in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district on Tuesday for insulting Islam. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has condemned the killing.

Addressing a gathering in Bhopal’s Ashok Garden area as part of his party’s campaign for the local body elections in Madhya Pradesh, Asaduddin also demanded the arrest of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma for making remarks against Prophet Mohammad.

Apart from this, Owaisi said that I condemn the (Udaipur) incident. The law does not allow killing of anyone. No one can kill others. We will not take the law into our own hands. This is a crime. But we demand that Nupur Sharma should also be arrested.
