Voting is underway for Lok Sabha by-elections in Rampur. Meanwhile, senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has taken a jibe at the government over the action of detaining several SPs on Wednesday night.
Azam Khan said- ‘Who is a bigger criminal than us? So do whatever you want with us. If there is an accused of chicken, goat, buffalo, book and furniture, then our city has also been forbidden to do the same, so do whatever it wants..we have to endure.’
He further said that ‘we have been awake all night and our candidates have gone to all the police stations of Parliament. The most indecent behavior was done by the Inspector of Police Station Ganj and also beat up the people. If the vote percentage is dropped, then the blame will fall on the entire administration.
