Devotees thronged Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi temple for the darshan of Ram Lalla on Sunday.
People were seen waiting in long queues to catch a glimpse of the deity.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s historic temple was held on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the Vedic rituals, led by a group of priests.
The ceremonial journey leading up to the Pran Pratishtha included a seven-day ritual that commenced on January 16, 2024.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya has brought immense joy to every devotee of Lord Ram and follower of Sanatan Dharma.
Addressing the party workers in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda, CM Yogi provided a glimpse of the evolving landscape of India.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the temple has been built at the same place where it was decided to get built.”
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir has been constructed in the traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed. (ANI)
