Four people including two minors, were killed after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a river in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district on Wednesday, police said.
The tragic mishap took place on a bridge over the Shivnath River under Pulgaon police station limits in the early morning hours of Wednesday, according to SDRF Commandant Nagendra Singh.

By using a hydra crane, the vehicle was fished out of the river, and four bodies were retrieved from the ill-fated goods vehicle by the officer.
Of the recovered bodies, two are minors, said Durg Superintendent of Police (SP) Shalabh Sinha.
The SP further informed that one deceased person has been identified as Lalit Sahu (38), a resident of Durg district, while efforts are on to ascertain the identification of others.
