Security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Machil sector killed a terrorist and foiled an infiltration attempt on Sunday in an operation that is currently underway. The operation began on Saturday night when security personnel stationed at Machil spotted suspicious movement near the Line of Control (LoC) fence.
Army spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that 1 terrorist has been killed in the joint operation and they have also recovered an AK rifle and two bags.
He said that the terrorists were first intercepted on November 7-November 8 night and troops had spotted the terrorists trying to infiltrate.
The operation is currently underway.
