Poco may enter the laptop space in India very soon. According to leakster Mukul Sharma, two new laptop batteries (R15B02W, R14B02W) have now received the Indian BIS certification and are marked under the Poco brand.

Poco has launched multiple devices this year after becoming an independent brand of Xiaomi. The devices, however, has been just phones. The company did tease Poco Pop Buds, but the TWS earbuds are yet to see the light of the day. It is being speculated Poco may expand its portfolio early next year.

It is worth noting that Xiaomi has already forayed into the laptop space in India. The company launched Mi Notebook 14 series in June this year. The laptops were launched for a starting price of 41,999. As 91Mobiles point out, it is not clear whether Poco laptops will be completely different from Xiaomi’s or another rebranded device.
