Nokia 5.4 has been spotted on Google’s list of AR Core devices confirming the smartphone’s existence. This comes shortly after the specifications of the Nokia 5.4 were leaked. Nokia 5.4 will succeed the Nokia 5.3 that was launched earlier this year.

The Google AR Core sighting of Nokia 5.4 was spotted by My Smart Price. Nokia 5.4 joins an existing line of Nokia smartphones including the Nokia 6, Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 6.2 for devices that support Google’s AR Core platform. This confirms the existence of the Nokia 5.4, and also hints at an imminent launch. But considering it’s only been a few months since the Nokia 5.3 made its debut, we might not see the Nokia 5.4 just yet.

The smartphone’s specifications were also leaked by MSP recently. Nokia 5.4 is said to feature a 6.39-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone will also have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Nokia 5.4 is also said to pack a 4,000mAh battery, and run Android 10 out-of-the-box. The smartphone will reportedly sport a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it will offer a 16-megapixel front camera.

Before the Nokia 5.4, we’ll most likely see other Nokia smartphones that have been expected to launch for quite some time now. These include the Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 7.2. HMD Global is also scheduled to launch a new Nokia smartphone with Android 10 (Go Edition) on December 15 in China.
