Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Monday alleged that US technology giant Apple threatened to remove Twitter from its App Store. Along with this, he said that the reason behind this action was not given.

In a tweet, Musk wrote that Apple has also threatened to pull Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us as he ridiculed the gadget maker’s decision. Elon Musk has tried to revamp Twitter ever since he took control of the microblogging site.

Last week, Musk announced a new Twitter policy, saying the social media platform would no longer promote tweets containing hate speech or otherwise “negative” content. In a tweet, he said that the new Twitter policy is freedom of expression, but not freedom of access. He also told that Twitter will not promote and promote Tweets containing hate speech or otherwise negative content.

He tweeted that the new Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of access. Negative/hateful tweets will be maximum deboosted and demonetised. So there will be no advertising or other revenue on Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically look for it, no different than the rest of the internet. He also announced that Twitter plans to restore several controversial accounts that were previously banned or suspended, including former President Donald Trump’s account.
