On Friday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami referred to the Bharat Jodo Yatra as a hollow journey.

Sarcastically commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s beard, CM Dhami said that nobody becomes Prime Minister by growing beards. Tenacity and sacrifice are needed to become like Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is something that is impossible for a normal person to do.lish.

There is a lot of discussion these days about the growing beard of Rahul Gandhi. Recently, Assam CM Himanta Vishwa Sharma had said about his look that the face of the former Congress president should not look like ‘Saddam Hussain’. In response to a question related to this, Dhami sarcastically said, ‘Growing a beard does not make a person Narendra Modi.

To become Narendra Modi, one needs discipline, sacrifice and action in life. One must harden oneself, apply oneself, and have the resolve to dedicate every moment to the service of the nation and the people, as Narendra Modi has done.

Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar, who was involved in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, on Friday hit back at the ruling party at the Center for taunting Rahul Gandhi’s growing beard. Slamming the central government over the rising prices of petrol and diesel, he said that instead of Gandhi’s beard, BJP leaders should worry about the car of the common man.

He said, ‘You (BJP leaders) should stop worrying about how our leaders should keep their beards. You suggest that the common people of the country should keep cars because the price of petrol has increased beyond Rs 100 per litre.’ He said that the BJP, who was upset with the success of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, was attacking the Congress for nonsense.
