In response to complaints of litter in Uttarakhand, quick response teams are going to be formed in all municipal bodies. Explain that the Directorate of Urban Development has given instructions to form these teams under the Cleanliness Survey 2023.
However, garbage disposal remains a big challenge in the state. The High Court issued an email ID to be used for handling complaints within the stipulated timeframe. This is because responsibility for dealing with complaints has been given to the Garhwal and Kumaon Divisional Commissioners.
Meanwhile, representatives of all civic bodies were made aware of the orders of the High Court in a state-level seminar organized at the Survey Auditorium on Monday.
Additional Director Ashok Kumar Pandey said that for the first time the Quick Response Team has been included in the cleanlinsurvey of 2023.023. Instructions have been issued to all local bodies by the department to form quick response teams for garbage disposal.
These teams will redress complaints received through the Swachhata app or other means within a period of four, eight, 10 or 24 hours. SuSeThe most talented of these teams work in the cleanest cities of the country, including Indore. Swachhachh Survekshan 2023 separates groups of steams.
