Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu held a meeting regarding the ‘Family Identity Card Uttarakhand’ scheme at the secretariat on Wednesday. Additional Secretary Planning Rohit Meena gave a detailed presentation on the implementation of the scheme on behalf of the Planning Department before the Chief Secretary.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed the officers that work on the implementation of the Family Identity Card scheme should be started at the earliest. He said that for the successful implementation of the scheme, all departments should collect all kinds of data with mutual cooperation.
Data on which departments need to provide what data, and the format should be prepared within the next 2-3 days, and sent to all departments. The Family Identity Card should be developed by linking the databases of various departments. He also instructed the departments to appoint nodal officers for providing departmental data so that the scheme could be implemented quickly.
The Chief Secretary said that the departments that have to collect data should collect all types of data with mutual cooperation. As well as setting the time for data collection at each level, he instructed us on the survey format before it took place. As part of this, instructions were also given to prepare a portal and fill out the data at theock level.
He said that along with creating a dedicated cell for this, adequate manpower should be arranged. Continuous monitoring should be done so that there is no scope for errors in data collection. Surprise inspections should be done at the field level.
According to Rohit Meena, Addition Secretary to Planning, Family Identity Card Uttarakhand Yojana will ease the process of obtaining various certificates and beneficiary-oriented schemes for residents of Uttarakhand. Due to the issuance of Family Identity Card Uttarakhand, caste, income, residence, and disabled identity cards will not be required separately. Its complete data will be available on the Family Identity Card, Uttarakhand.
On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary L. Fanai, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Nitesh Jha, V.V.R. C. Purushottam, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Ravinath Raman and Dr. R. Other high officials including Rajesh Kumar were present.
