Vi (Vodafone Idea) has launched a new postpaid family plan priced at ₹948. The new Vi plan is called Entertainment Plus 699 F, and it comes with unlimited high-speed data benefits for users.
Vi’s new family plan is priced at ₹699 for two connections but two more members can join by paying ₹249 each. This was first reported by OnlyTech, and Vi is yet to list the new family plan on its website. For now, only Vi users in the Uttar Pradesh East circle are eligible for the postpaid plan. It has been available since December 3, 2020. There’s no word on whether Vi will expand this plan to other circles in the country.
The new Vi family postpaid plan comes with unlimited data for the primary user, and 30GB data for the secondary user. It also offers unlimited local, STD, national roaming and 100 SMS per month for both primary and secondary users. There’s also a data roll-over of 30GB for the secondary user in Vi’s new family plan.
The primary user has access to more benefits including Vi Movies and TV, Amazon Prime, and Zee5 Premium for a year. Secondary users have access to only Vi’s catalogue of movies and TV for a year. Vi’s new family plan is actually an extension of its ₹699 Entertainment plan launched earlier this year in July. The revised plan comes with the addition of two more connections at ₹249 each.
