A photo of two remembrance notes in a newspaper has caught the attention of social media users. The eagle-eyed netizens spotted that both the notes were published in Surindar Kumar Gupta’s name but were from different families. Interestingly, the two remembrance notes were placed adjacent to each other.
Both the notes had the photo of the same man and the dates of birth and passing away were also same. However, the notes were advertised by two different families.
A photo of the remembrance notes has gone viral on social media. “What if both the wives discovered six years after his death that Surinder Uncle had quite a colourful life,” the post is captioned.

One note mentions Gulshan Gupta has Surindar’s wife, while the second note his wife’s name is Swarna Lata Gupta.
Now, netizens are curious to know if the placement of the two notes next to each other was unintentional. Did the two families know about each other? Or did they discover each other’s existence about the notes were published next to each other?
A user suggested, “One could be an ex wife no?” Another said, “Or maybe they did and wanted to show the “size” of their love to inherit property…who knows…my imagination is running wild.”
Someone commented, “It seems uncle distributed his wealth equally no animosity between two wife’s both remember him with Love.” Yet another asked, “How did these obituaries end up next to each other?”
