Indian singer and composer Bappi Lahiri has passed away. At the age of 69, he breathed his last in a hospital in Mumbai. Bappi Lahiri’s health suddenly deteriorated on Tuesday night.

He was brought to the hospital where doctors tried hard to save him but failed. Bappi Lahiri was ill for some time. He had to make rounds of the hospital since last year. Last year, even when the symptoms of corona were seen in Singer, he was admitted to the hospital.

He was under the supervision of doctors at Breach Candy Hospital. Bappi Da’s real name is Alokesh Lahiri. He has given more than one iconic songs to Bollywood in the 70-80s.

Mithun Chakraborty’s song I Am A Disco Dancer is still remembered by people. It was Bappi Da whose voice made this song popular from house to house. Later Bappi Da came to be known as Disco King.
