Dehradun: Two students from The TonsBridge School emerged as top-scorers, securing more than 99% in their CBSE Class XII board exams.

While Devjyoti Chakravarti secured 498 out of 500 marks in Economics stream, his schoolmate Aryaman Mihir Seth scored 497 out of 500 marks in the Science stream.

Chakravarti shared his position of the state topper with Sagar Garg, a student of DSB International Public School in Rishikesh, who also secured 498 marks. Chakravarti scored 100 in English, Economics, and History while he lost just a single mark in Maths and Political Science.

Interestingly, Chakravarti’s sister has also topped her MA (Sociology) exams this year. She was pursuing the course from Delhi School of Economics. Like her younger brother, she was also one of the top students during her schooling years. Chakravarti’s mother is an editor at the Oxford University Press and her father is a professor at a private university. The family has now returned to their hometown New Delhi after spending four years in Dehradun. “Our family loves watching football games and I support Real Madrid Football Club,” added Chakravarti.
Meanwhile, Seth also shares the position of second topper of the state with three other students — Ayush Sharma (Haridwar), Ishan Jain (Nainital), and Pratha Vishnoi (US Nagar).
