Uttarakhand Waqf Board President Shadab Shams said that the madrassas to which the government gives money, it also has the right to be investigated. In such a situation, it is also the right of the government to conduct a survey of those madrasas.

He said that with the money being given, are Muslim students getting education, food and other facilities in madrassas or not? Are there teachers in madrasas or not? Do madrassas have buildings or not? It will be surveyed.

Shadab Shams said that more than 500 madrasas are being operated in the entire state. Out of which 103 madrasas come under the time board. These madrasas get money from the government. Under this, the Waqf Board will survey all its 103 madrasas in Uttarakhand and how all the facilities of the state government are being used in them, it will be investigated.
